Award winning roots artist Oliver Swain has been a celebrated musician for years, held in high regard in acoustic and folk music styles for both his astonishing instrumental and vocal abilities, though he seldom gives the genre a fully traditional treatment. Oliver got his start performing and writing with many of the US and Canada’s most loved roots bands including The Bills, The Duhks, Outlaw Social (Pharis Romero), Ruth Moody and The Red Stick Ramblers.

Join us this year as we kick off the festivities at Roberts Creek School, gathering for the lively Higgledy Piggledy Parade leading down to the Pier! Get creative with your costumes straight from the tickle trunk! Meet at 10:45am, parade at 11:11am!
Explore a diverse array of vendors offering information, crafts, delicious food, and engaging activities for everyone to enjoy. Kids will love the KidZone featuring face painting, games, and playful activities.
Don’t miss the vibrant music performances at the mandala stage from 11:30am-6pm and the Slow Sundays Stage at Library Park from noon-3:30pm. Be sure to browse through the renowned Library Book Sale from noon-3pm—it’s a can’t-miss event!

Five Alarm Funk is a horn-powered, percussion-fueled, sonic and visual rave. The band is known for their epic live shows featuring wild costumes, electric choreography, & tight arrangements of Gypsy-Rock, Afro-Funk, Reggae, Ska, and Punk.
On stage, Five Alarm Funk are an unstoppable orgy of energy–eight musicians deliver intricate arrangements with melodic climaxes, while the four percussionists create a true spectacle. For twenty years, the band has brought their relentless and unforgettable live show to clubs and major festivals across Canada and the United States.

The Roberts Creek Community Association is proud to bring Five Alarm Funk to the Roberts Creek Community Hall!
