Arboreal Resonance – Guided Walk & Audio Installation

Before gathering at the Installation site, the Guided Walk in the Tuwanek Spring Forest with Jessica Silvey and Robert Joe will begin at 11:00am.

Gather at the entrance of the Tuwanek Spring Forest at 10:45am. After the Guided Walk you will be led to the Audio Installation site where you’ll be able to mingle and listen to 8 Sitka Spruce Resonators* diffusing sounds within the soundscape of the forest. The audio installation will run till around 4:30pm.

Arboreal Resonance is an audio installation/performance space presented by Giorgio Magnanensi featuring 8 custom-made Sitka Spruce audio resonators built from discarded logs reclaimed from mill operations on the Sunshine Coast, the installation provides an environment designed to promote new, respectful ways of engaging sonically with endangered forests.
