Ukrainian Pisanki Egg Demonstation
Demonstration of Ukrainian pisanki eggs being ‘written’. This is a special feature to celebrate Easter and the opening season day of the Sechelt Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market. Join us as artist Janet Richey shows you the colourful process of making these icon decorated eggs. Janet will be graciously accepting donations to support an art therapy program for children in war-torn Ukraine. While you’re there check out the many new and returning vendors of the market! There will be some Easter fun for the whole family. Rain or shine!

3rd Annual Gambier Makers’ Market
Meet artisans of Gambier and beyond! The Makers’ Market is curated to showcase hand-made, unique items available only during this one-day event. Doors open at 12:30 p.m., after the Remembrance Day gathering. You’ll be able to get alcoholic refreshments upstairs (no host bar – cash, credit and debit cards accepted), and continue visiting with friends and neighbours.
