Sechelt Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market

Mar 30 – Oct 12. Enjoy a stroll through the Sunshine Coast’s biggest and longest running market. Every Saturday from Easter to Thanksgiving, 9 am to 2:30 pm. You’ll find a colourful selection of local, curated items from seasonal produce, gift-worthy arts and crafts, to artesian foods and drinks and hot foods. Leashed-pet friendly, accessible, family fun. 3rd Annual Gambier Makers’ Market

Meet artisans of Gambier and beyond! The Makers’ Market is curated to showcase hand-made, unique items available only during this one-day event. Doors open at 12:30 p.m., after the Remembrance Day gathering. You’ll be able to get alcoholic refreshments upstairs (no host bar – cash, credit and debit cards accepted), and continue visiting with friends and neighbours. Over 20 of the best local vendors undercover in the greenhouse or in tents around our garden centre, grab a bite to eat from a food truck while drinking a delicious craft beer from Townsite Brewing, and watch your children get creative in our FREE children’s creation station. Pop in to our building and experience a winter wonderland that our elves have been working hard at creating; a feast for your eyes!

22nd Annual Gibsons Fall Fair

Oct 7 & 8th. Come check out the artisans and crafters that fill the greenhouse. Pick up your baking / pies / desserts for Thanksgiving dinner. Bring the kiddies to check out the kids crafts corner while you shop. Enter one of the competitions – Largest Pumpkin, Best Dressed Veg, Best Scarecrow, and Strangest Looking Home Grown Vegetable.

Sat and Sun from 12:00 – 5pm. Join us for everything local. Food, music, livestock, farmers, crafters and local non-profits. If you make, bake or grow anything, please be sure to enter your items in the exhibition barn (adult and youth categories available) here.  This year we’re trying something new! Fair entry fees are by donation and everyone is welcome. This is our annual fundraiser and we’ll have lots of ways to support local agriculture once you’re here.
