PR – The Alley: Artist Card Trading Night – Family Friendly

Do you know about Artist Trading Cards? Whether you do or don’t, we hope you’ll join us for ATC nights with host Harvey Chometsky.

In short, Artist Trading Cards are self-made unique works or small series, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in this collaborative event. There are only 2 “rules”: the cards must be 2.5″x3.5″ (the same as modern hockey cards or baseball cards), and they are only to be traded, not sold.

Make them ahead of time, or make them on the spot. We’ll bring some blanks and other art supplies.

PR – Wishing Well: Opening receiption – catnip solo exhibition – ‘hey again’

A body of new works by Catnip, “hey again”, that explore the lives of little characters, bounding across a few different mediums ranging from paper, spraypaint, wood, canvas, sculptural, and maybe more .
The stories and themes for these works are that of simplicity, small feelings, moments that capture these characters living and being – from playfulness to regret to joy and many things in between.
The opening evening will double function as a music event with:
Cello by Hugh Prichard to start the evening,
Declan.wav with live hip hop poeticism to bring us to thought,
