Seaside Centre: Coast Hospice Day
We welcome you to join us for the “Coast Hospice Day” community event at the Seaside Centre on Sunday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Stop in to learn about Hospice’s community work. There will be BBQ burgers from the Lions Club, baked goods, raffle tickets, door prizes and great conversations. We will also have a space dedicated to viewing and discussing our “Living With Dying” documentary. Come and see how we use funds from our community, including those raised during Hike for Hospice.
Meet us at 10 a.m. to prepare and then participate in a group “Walk for Hospice” through town.

Our evening will feature live music by Rebecca Lorna & Jeremy Forester, a brief program honouring our volunteer crew and a Silent + Live Auction to help keep this little local marine rescue team trained, equipped, and ready to save lives on the water!

Gibsons Public Art Gallery: The Art of Chocolate Youth Workshop
A fun & free workshop for youth led by Sunshine Coast chocolatier and artist John Down.
In this workshop you’ll create your own original artworks (paint it, collage it, glitter it!) to wrap and label a gourmet chocolate bar provided by Christopher Norman Chocolates. Everyone will be invited to take their custom bar home to enjoy, while extras will be available for sale in the Gift Shop as a fundraiser for the Gallery.
Admission is free but space is limited so you must RSVP via EventBrite. Open to youth aged 2 – 18. Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All supplies provided. Special thanks to John Down and Christopher Norman Chocolates for sponsoring SHOUT OUT and offering this wonderful opportunity to be a chocolate artist!

Sundays 12:30 – 2:30pm. Now inside the Quonset Hut. An old-fashioned, country-style farmer´s market selling fresh, locally grown vegetables, fruit, farm-fresh eggs, home baking, honey, preserves, pickles, pies, candy, and wild-crafted specialties. Local artisans provide one-of-a-kind items. Produce is grown without pesticides or herbicides, and the market supports sustainable farming and the humane treatment of animals.
