I’ve spent my life pursuing creative work. I began as a film maker, producing, directing and writing short films, worked as a photographer, an apprentice chef, and a graphic designer. My play, Honey, was staged at the Chan Centre in 2009. I graduated from UBC with an MFA in 2011. My novel, Lucky, was nominated for the Dorothy Livesay Literary Award 2014. For the last ten years I’ve been actively exploring my interest in chocolate, through both formal training and home practice. I make bonbons, hollow figures, dragees and bars, paint with coloured cocoa butter, and sculpt with modelling chocolate. The rigorous nature of chocolate, and creating flavour combinations suits me well, as does watching people smile when they taste a piece of my work! Available by appointment only.
