Roxanne Hoffman Pottery
I have collected pottery as long as I can remember so it was fitting that pottery brought me to the Sunshine Coast in a life changing trip. Now as a resident of the Sunshine Coast I have been privileged to study with some amazing potters, and to create my own studio. Pottery is a journey, and my style evolves as I experiment with different finishes and techniques. I am also focused on bringing some of my Métis heritage to my work.
Bill Reid said, “Joy is a well-made object, equaled only by the joy of making it.” I couldn’t agree more and hope to always bring joy to others with my pottery. My work includes functional work for day to day use as well as unique decorative pieces. You will find a mix of styles and approaches when visiting my studio.
I am excited to participate in the Art Crawl again! This year I will be in my home studio with talented local painter Ezmina Samaroo. We will be showing a combination of contemporary pottery & paintings. My handmade ceramics are unique, decorative yet functional and are paired with Ezmina’s evocative landscapes & seascapes. There is something for everyone!
