Throughout my life, few things have inspired me as deeply as the ever-changing landscapes of the places I have called home. The shifting colours, the vast horizons, the scents carried by the wind, the symphony of sounds, and the sensations of extreme heat and cold- all these elements are woven into the fabric of my experiences.
Through my art, I seek to share this tapestry of memories and emotions. My relationship with landscapes and seascapes shapes my work, guiding me towards a language of minimalism. I aim to capture the essence of the world as I see it- its quiet transitions, its liminal spaces- where sky and horizon meet, where boundaries blur, and where possibility is endless.
Translating my reaction to the world around me into art is an ongoing journey.
I am excited to participate in the Art Crawl again! This year, I will be with talented local potter, Roxanne Hoffman showing in her home studio. We will be showing a combination of contemporary pottery & paintings. Her handmade ceramics are unique, decorative yet functional and are paired with my evocative landscapes & seascapes. There is something for everyone!
