I am a registered status band member through Homalco First Nations. My Indigenous ancestry is from Homalco / Sliammon / Sechelt / Squamish / Morricetown. I am the youngest of 6 brothers and 1 sister. Since 2006 I was inspired to start my carving career with cedar wood from cousin’s Bill Blaney & my cousin Chief Darren Blaney of Homalco. I have worked on a lot of big projects for my nation such as the Homalco Grizzly bear tour signs in Orford bay, from there it sprung board me to start working on totem poles. I currently have my own carving studio called Aupe studio and out door work space where you will find me creating . I reside on the homelands of shíshálh Nation with my wife Shy and our family.
