Art from the Heart endeavours to help those less fortunate and currently supports a small orphanage in Ghana, West Africa. All proceeds from sales go directly to the orphange to feed, clothe and educate the children.

Recycled and re-used fabrics are sewn into new creations. What was once a table cloth, blouse, sheet or skirt becomes a pot holder, a bag or a pillow. New creations come alive through strip and crazy quilting. Only the occasional piece of new fabric is used to add a splash of colour and design.

Hand rolled beeswax candles, goats milk soaps, shell soap dishes, decoupaged soaps, notebooks, mixed media mini canvases and hand printed tea towels round out the inventory. Every effort is made to use items that might otherwise be discarded, giving them a new life.
