to Mar 30. My work has a strong form and curve with contrasting light and shadow; it is simple yet dramatic. Using a ridiculously small paintbrush, I hand-paint my image with white acrylic paint. There is no tracing or transferring of an image; I paint freehand from photos I have taken locally. As a fortunate Sunshine Coast, BC, resident, I have an unlimited source of inspiration and subject matter through nature.
