Art Exhibition: The Kube – Amir Aziz ‘Ancient Future’

Ancient Future showcases new works by Amir Aziz, exploring the meeting point of ancient cultures and digital technology. Drawing on his Iranian-Canadian heritage, Aziz reimagines artifacts, symbols and architecture through modern tools like digital illustration, 3D design and sculptural objects.
Amir Aziz is a multidisciplinary artist who explores the intersection of art, perception and technology in light of sacred traditions and world cultures. His immersive media company, Spherical Pictures, is exhibiting two immersive 360˚ planetarium films about the poetry of Rumi, as well as the philosophy of Alan Watts. Amir currently resides in Robert’s Creek, BC with his wife and three children.
