to Nov 23. As a former curator of a public art gallery, an art student, and an art instructor, Gibsons resident Manon Staiger has explored a variety of media and art-making techniques over the years. For Staiger, every art making attempt is an experiment. It may begin with a process driven approach, aka playing with a new medium that eventually becomes a tool for expressing visual commentary. It may begin with an observation or conversation that, as in this exhibition in Joe’s Lounge, becomes the catalyst for a body of work.
