Visit Wendy Drummond at her studio in Lund. Her underlying vision is to engage ‘fibre, heart and story’ into every piece; to increase awareness and appreciation of sustainable natural fibres; promote the local fibre community; and advocate for the slow cloth/slow fashion movement.
PR – qathet Studio Tour
The annual qathet Studio Tour is a free self-guided event that will be held the last weekend in August (Sat & Sun Aug 27 & 28), from 10am-4pm. With 28 venues and over 40 participating artists – some venues hosting multiple artists – it’s a great way for art-makers and art lovers to meet and exchange ideas, and of course sell some of the exciting new art produced on the upper Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. Each year we welcome hundreds of eager visitors into our homes and studios to see where the magic happens.
