Sechelt Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market

Mar 30 – Oct 12. Enjoy a stroll through the Sunshine Coast’s biggest and longest running market. Every Saturday from Easter to Thanksgiving, 9 am to 2:30 pm. You’ll find a colourful selection of local, curated items from seasonal produce, gift-worthy arts and crafts, to artesian foods and drinks and hot foods. Leashed-pet friendly, accessible, family fun. PR – Fall Fair

Sat and Sun from 12:00 – 5pm. Join us for everything local. Food, music, livestock, farmers, crafters and local non-profits. If you make, bake or grow anything, please be sure to enter your items in the exhibition barn (adult and youth categories available) here.  This year we’re trying something new! Fair entry fees are by donation and everyone is welcome. This is our annual fundraiser and we’ll have lots of ways to support local agriculture once you’re here.

Night Market @ Gibsons Public Market

Night Markets at Gibsons Public Market have become a highly anticipated summer tradition, attracting thousands of locals and visitors alike. At the heart of these community-focused events is a growing culture of joy and connection, placemaking, and community celebration.

During the Night Markets, Gibsons Public Market really shines as a vibrant hub of Coastal life. These family-friendly celebrations feature an array of savory and sweet food options, beverages from across the Sunshine Coast, live music and performances, clowns, magicians, local artisans and service providers. Our Market merchants offer specials and our Nicholas Sonntag Marine Education Centre opens its aquarium for extended hours. Night Markets also offer fun activities and crafts for kids and a 50/50 draw for the adults!

Deck the Halls Artisan Fair

Our annual Deck the Halls Artisan Fair is here! This year it will take place solely in the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre building. Many local vendors will be displaying their wares and festive food treats will be available for purchase. It’s the perfect time and place to get into the holiday spirit while picking up a gift and supporting our local vendors.

The first Christmas Fair that the Sunshine Coast Arts Council produced was held in 1979 in the current Sunshine Coast Arts Centre. Over the years, the Fair has changed venue from the Sechelt Band Hall to the Rockwood and Seaside Centre before finally coming home once again to the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre, expanding to two venues last year, and this year returning to one.

Entrance is by donation.

Hackett Park Artisan Fair

The Hackett Park Artisan Fair is an annual gathering of local and regional vendors. The Fair has been an annual tradition on the Coast for 35 years, and attracts close to 5000 visitors seeking to discover the creations of artisans who are jury selected based on craftsmanship, originality, and the unique items they have to offer for sale.

We will have live musicians in Hackett Park’s new amphitheatre. There will be a large variety of artisans, artists, entertainers, and food vendors!

The entrances to the Fair are located at the corner of Trail Ave. and Medusa as well as Trail Ave. and Dolphin St. in Sechelt. Admission is by donation for adults and free for children under twelve.

Calling all Entertainers! We are looking for fun, family friendly performances for our upcoming Hackett Park Artisan Fair. Musicians, Performers, and Entertainers of all kinds welcome. Apply to perform in the amphitheatre at Hackett Park Artisan Fair, frequenting close to 5,000 visitors.

Fair Dates: August 19th – 20th, 2023, 10AM – 4PM

This year’s fair will take place in the lower field of Hackett park, and will feature a wide variety of artisans, artists, live music, and delicious food.

Banditry Cider: Mother’s Yoga & Market

Celebrate the mothers and maternal figures in our lives with a morning of yoga and an afternoon shopping some local vendors!
Natalie Ramsay will be leading a yoga class from 11-12. Yoga tickets ($25) are available on our website and are limited. Plus vendors on site to spoil the mother in your life. Find flowers from @stoneorchardflowerfarm, cards from @tiptiptip_press , treats from @coastcookiecompany and gorgeous charcuterie boxes from @goodfridaysgibsons ! Pair any of these with some of our pretty floral cans and you’ve got yourself the perfect Mother’s Day delivery!
