Gibsons Public Market: Wellness Fest 2024 at Gibsons Public Market

to June 2. Join us on a journey towards wellness! Gibsons Public Market is excited to announce our second annual Wellness Fest, thanks to our presenting sponsor, Sunshine Coast Credit Union. A four-day event full of various dimensions of wellness. The festival starts with a Sound Journey hosted by Kym and Chris on Thursday, May 30th. On Friday, May 31st, we will show the film Body of Light by Gordon Holloran. On Saturday, June 1st, and Sunday, June 2nd; come and enjoy our Wellness Fair with a diverse range of vendors. We will have demonstrations, drum circles, live music, and so much more. You can also participate in one or more of our workshops offered by local professionals and businesses. Limited space is available for workshops, so secure your spot today!

Meet local farmers who have all kinds of wonderful local food from asparagus to zucchini.  Local farmers also bring eggs, frozen meats, and preserves Powell River Fair Grounds 4365 McLeod Rd. Some shaded parking is available, unfortunately dogs are not permitted.

Ukrainian Pisanki Egg Demonstation

Demonstration of Ukrainian pisanki eggs being ‘written’. This is a special feature to celebrate Easter and the opening season day of the Sechelt Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market. Join us as artist Janet Richey shows you the colourful process of making these icon decorated eggs. Janet will be graciously accepting donations to support an art therapy program for children in war-torn Ukraine. While you’re there check out the many new and returning vendors of the market! There will be some Easter fun for the whole family. Rain or shine!

RC Hall: Fantasy Burlesque

We are back with another mouthwatering burlesque show! This time we are donating proceeds to the SC Community Services Society.
With over 25 performers this show will have you begging for more long after the show is over. Dress up and bring your dancing shoes to dance the night away after the show.

PR – Fall Fair

Sat and Sun from 12:00 – 5pm. Join us for everything local. Food, music, livestock, farmers, crafters and local non-profits. If you make, bake or grow anything, please be sure to enter your items in the exhibition barn (adult and youth categories available) here.  This year we’re trying something new! Fair entry fees are by donation and everyone is welcome. This is our annual fundraiser and we’ll have lots of ways to support local agriculture once you’re here.
