HMB Elementary School: Holiday Market and Kids Craft Fair

A vibrant, collaborative event where aspiring kids showcase and sell their handmade creations alongside established local vendors from the Coast. The first 300 visitors will receive free “Kidpreneur Cash,” courtesy of the Sunshine Coast Credit Union, to spend at any of our +30 youth vendors. This guarantees sales for the kids and makes it a successful night for everyone!

The event will feature a festive gingerbread house competition, a North Pole selfie station, kids’ games and crafts, hot chocolate, food trucks, and much more! The 2024 main vendor artisans include pottery, photography, skincare & wellness, candles, baking, fabric arts, and more. Come celebrate creativity, community, and the holiday spirit at the HMB Holiday Market!

We will continue to serve our community inside the Quonset Hut (same location, at 4365 McLeod Rd) from now until the end of April!

Join us this year as we kick off the festivities at Roberts Creek School, gathering for the lively Higgledy Piggledy Parade leading down to the Pier! Get creative with your costumes straight from the tickle trunk! Meet at 10:45am, parade at 11:11am!
Explore a diverse array of vendors offering information, crafts, delicious food, and engaging activities for everyone to enjoy. Kids will love the Kidz Zone featuring face painting, games, and playful activities. This year, we’re excited to feature a Youth Gallery showcasing the creative talents of our young artists.
Don’t miss the vibrant music performances at the mandala stage from 11:30am-6pm, Slow Sundays Stage at Library Park 12-3:30pm, book sale 12-3pm.

Hackett Park Artisan Fair

The Hackett Park Artisan Fair is an annual gathering of local and regional vendors. The Fair has been an annual tradition on the Coast for 35 years, and attracts close to 5000 visitors seeking to discover the creations of artisans who are jury selected based on craftsmanship, originality, and the unique items they have to offer for sale. In keeping with our ongoing tradition, the fair will coincide with the popular Festival of the Written Arts. We will have a large variety of artisans, artists, and food vendors!

This year will also feature live music in Hackett Park’s amphitheatre, hosted in conjunction with Rogue Fest!

The entrances to the Fair are located at the corner of Trail Ave. and Medusa as well as Trail Ave. and Dolphin St. in Sechelt. Admission is by donation.

Meet local farmers who have all kinds of wonderful local food from asparagus to zucchini.  Local farmers also bring eggs, frozen meats, and preserves Powell River Fair Grounds 4365 McLeod Rd. Some shaded parking is available, unfortunately dogs are not permitted.

Sechelt Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market

Mar 30 – Oct 12. Enjoy a stroll through the Sunshine Coast’s biggest and longest running market. Every Saturday from Easter to Thanksgiving, 9 am to 2:30 pm. You’ll find a colourful selection of local, curated items from seasonal produce, gift-worthy arts and crafts, to artesian foods and drinks and hot foods. Leashed-pet friendly, accessible, family fun. See you there! Rain or shine!

Hackett Park Artisan Fair

The Hackett Park Artisan Fair is an annual gathering of local and regional vendors. The Fair has been an annual tradition on the Coast for 34 years, and attracts close to 5000 visitors seeking to discover the creations of artisans who are jury selected based on talent, originality, and the unique items they have to offer for sale. In keeping with our ongoing tradition, the fair will coincide with the popular Festival of the Written Arts (August 11th-14th, 2022, celebrating 40 years!)
This year’s Fair will take place in the lower field of Hackett Park and at the Arts Centre.
We will have live musicians in Hackett Park’s new amphitheatre and fun activities at the Arts Centre. There will be a large variety of artisans, artists, entertainers, and food vendors!
Entrance by donation!
