Sunnycrest Mall: 2025 Sunshine Coast Youth Project Fair
Sunshine Coast, BC youth (age 8-17yrs) are invited to display any school/cool project they have created this year, for one week at Sunnycrest Mall, Gibsons!
Science, history, STEM, art, craft, music… all projects welcome!
LIVE PRESENTATIONS: Saturday May 3, 11am – 2pm
Family, friends & the general public will have the chance to vote for their favourite projects, with great PRIZES for best projects in each category.
Projects will be on display in Sunnycrest Mall for one week, until Friday May 9.
All local schools & homeschoolers welcome to participate 🙂
GPAG: SHOUT OUT! Creation Station
Looking for something fun to do during Spring Break? During our Shout Out exhibition (March 13th – 30th), GPAG will be open every day 11am – 4pm. Parents and guardians, bring your young artists down anytime to see the exhibition and to enjoy our creation station!
We will be providing all you need to do four fun crafts: collage, weaving, origami, and rock painting; as well as a drawing station. Try out a new craft, and then bring your masterpiece home or trade it with others through our artwork exchange board. This is a free drop in activity station for all ages that will be open anytime throughout the exhibition. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.
Spring Break Foodie Farm Camp
Mar 24 – 28. Join us for this special edition food-forward Spring Break Camp on the farm, for kids aged 6-12. Hosted by your farmers at Heart & Sol Coastal Farm & chef Cheryl Chang. Monday to Friday, 9am – 3pm. Lunch included.

Come meet Watson the dog and read him a story! All readers are welcome, whether you’re new to reading, experienced, or struggling. Watson is non-judgmental and loves stories and pets. Read for 20 – 60 minutes by signing up for a timeslot online or calling 604-886-2130. For children and youth age 18 and under. Registration is required. Kids Art Classes! Winter 2025
Looking for fun art classes for your kids in the New year?
Artist Sarah Clement will be offering Art classes for Kids ages 9-12 starting in January at the Living Room Studio in Gibsons!
Each week we’ll dive into a new project, working with a variety of materials, exploring painting, collage and drawing. We’re going to get messy and colourful and make some beautiful things along the way, all within a small class size with lots of hands on instruction.

Learn how to create your own illustrated nature journal! This two hour workshop will feature exercises in observation, nature drawing, and descriptive writing.
This is a chance for people of all abilities to come away with skills for observing, documenting, and connecting with the natural world.
Ticket prices are sliding scale, with accessible, standard, and supporter options. No proof of income required, so choose the option that feels best for you!
