This fun winter-storytelling workshop will allow kids to write and illustrate their own wintry tales, from winter legends or celebrations, poems or songs, or wintery adventure stories, to more. Did you love Saturday morning cartoons with a bowl of cereal and hours of fun?! Well we are doing a throwback for this year’s EEK the Creek with Halloween movies & cartoons and a Cereal Bar! a variety of cereals, milk and oat milk. All by donation! Bring your own bowl, spoon, blanket and friends! Movies are for 10 and under but everyone is welcome.
Doors at 10am, shows start at 10:30am and will be done around 1pm

Come dressed in your favourite Halloween costume and get ready for a party the whole family can enjoy. Expect kid-friendly tunes, plenty of dancing, and lots of spooky fun!

This is NOT a drop-off event! There will be no sneaking out the door once your kid is distracted by the dance floor. Parents, guardians, and grown-ups must stay with their children for the entire event. And honestly… you might as well join in. You bought the ticket, you’re staying, and you’re dancing.
So grab the kids, put on your costumes, and get ready to dance like nobody’s watching… because everyone definitely is.

Join us on Tuesday, September 8th, 10am – 2pm for drop in creation stations with a variety of activities for kids of all ages! Plus, from 12pm – 2pm, we’ll be hosting a special checkerboard cedar mat weaving station with Red Cedar Woman. Try out some new crafts, including cedar weaving, beading, origami, collage, and more.

Explore a diverse array of vendors offering information, crafts, delicious food, and engaging activities for everyone to enjoy. Kids will love the KidZone featuring face painting, games, and playful activities.
Don’t miss the vibrant music performances at the mandala stage from 11:30am-6pm (see the discussion board for lineup) and the Slow Sundays Stage at Library Park from noon-3:30pm. Performance by the Story Theatre at the Gazebo, Be sure to browse through the renowned Library Book Sale from noon-3pm—it’s a can’t-miss event!
