Join us to raise a glass while raising funds for impactful local causes on the Sunshine Coast: 100% of net proceeds will go to supporting the Gibson’s Rotary Club’s local causes, such as accessible housing projects.

Ukrainian Pisanki Egg Demonstation

Demonstration of Ukrainian pisanki eggs being ‘written’. This is a special feature to celebrate Easter and the opening season day of the Sechelt Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market. Join us as artist Janet Richey shows you the colourful process of making these icon decorated eggs. Janet will be graciously accepting donations to support an art therapy program for children in war-torn Ukraine. While you’re there check out the many new and returning vendors of the market! There will be some Easter fun for the whole family. Rain or shine!

Gibsons Curling Bonspiel – Fundraiser

Come and enjoy a fun community event while helping to raise money for the Roberts Creek Child Care Society.

Curling starts at 1pm. Your ticket includes instruction while on the ice from the wonderful Gibsons Curling Club volunteers, and a bangin’ woodfired pizza of your choice from Coast Forno. The lounge/bar upstairs will be open for cold drinks and socializing.

Be sure to dress warm and comfy, grips for your shoes on the ice will be provided.

Author, former art critic and arts policy-maker, Max Wyman, will read from his new book, The Compassionate Imagination. How the arts are central to a functioning democracy. He was an arts critic and columnist for The Vancouver Sun and CBC Radio for over 30 years. He is the author of seven books on the arts in Canada. Annual Halfmoon Bay Fair

A day packed with entertainment for all ages.

Enjoy the convenience of our Shuttle Bus service as you come to participate in a vaiety of activities. The Marketplace will be bustling with over 35 local artisans displaying their crafts and products. Engage with local organizations, participate in beachside activities, and absorb valuable community-focused presentations in the Hall.
The afternoon will be filled with family-friendly games, activities, and live music performances. Don’t forget the Fun Zone for kids, a haven of joy for the little(r) ones!

13th Annual Summer Peanut Butter Jam Fundraiser
