Seaside Centre: Coast Hospice Day

We welcome you to join us for the “Coast Hospice Day” community event at the Seaside Centre on Sunday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

We will also have a space dedicated to viewing and discussing our “Living With Dying” documentary. Come and see how we use funds from our community, including those raised during Hike for Hospice.

PH Golf Club: 40th Anniversary Fundraiser Tournament

In 1986, the Pender Harbour Golf Club opened. It was community funded, and built by volunteers. To this day, the club continues to operate as a non-profit organization, lead by a volunteer Board of Directors, and relies heavily on volunteer efforts and community support.
Registration fee includes your golf (with cart), awesome prizes, and dinner at Ace’s Clubhouse Bar & Grill (burger and a bevie!).

Gibsons Public Market: Sip, Savour & Dance – Gibsons Rotary Spring Fling Fundraiser

An event to raise funds for the community contributions from the Gibsons Rotary Club. As a “Spring Fling” it is going to be fun with wine tasting, food snacking, dancing and a small silent auction focused on baskets, art and experiences. Dance to DJ Karl’s funky tunes from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond while sampling red, white, and sparkling wines from various wineries.

Heritage Playhouse: James Vickers Band Returns!

Sixteen-year-old blues prodigy and his band will be back in Gibsons to rock the roof off at the Heritage Playhouse. Inspired by rock and blues heroes Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd, classic blues and rock faves with a Gen Z edge and many of their own signature songs. The Nanaimo band has already earned international acclaim at the Memphis Blues Festival and are on track to go places in 2026.
