PR – Fall Fair 2022 in Powell River Sat/Sun 12pm – 5pm

Enjoy the fall harvest with beautiful entries in the Exhibition Hall ranging from fruit & vegetables, flowers, preserves, cakes, photographs, art, Lego models, quilts and much much more. There are adult categories and children’s categories too, everyone can enter. Live Music on the main stage, raffle tickets, vendors, farmers, live animals, train rides, zuchinni races and much more. $5 admission, kids 12 and under free.

PR – Texada Blues & Roots Festival

Aug 6-7. Celebrating music and our region. Most of our performers are local – from within 100 km of Gillies Bay. We have a diverse group of performers for your enjoyment while showcasing Texada Island, the largest island in the Gulf Island chain.

July 30 – “Fly in Fling” dance, burgers and beer 4:30PM at the Legion.

July 31, “Fly In” including pancake breakfast, BBQ lunch, sky dive team, flight demonstrations, plane, bike and car show and shine and more. More info here
