PR – Texada Island Blues & Roots Festival

Celebrating music and our region. Most of our performers are local – from within 100 km of Gillies Bay. We have a diverse group of performers for your enjoyment while showcasing Texada Island, the largest island in the Gulf Island chain.

Texada is unique, picturesque and diverse. If you are camping, enjoy our 400 acre Shelter Point Park. While here, visit the falls, learn our history at a first rate museum, or cool off with a swim. Learn more about what Texada has to offer elsewhere on this website.

This Texada music festival is for everyone. There will be a farmers market, food and craft vendors, a kids’ zone for the young ones to play, and a place to quench the adults’ thirst.
