Thursdays. Move your body and free your mind while moving to great music outside! Delight in this fusion of free form movement with graceful tai chi, strengthening martial arts forms and yogic stretching. All ages welcome! No experience necessary. Classes by donation in Dougall Park (overhead cover) while the weather is nice (or in the Kinsmen Hall when rainy and cold). Bring footwear (optional) and a mat.
Music for Endangered Forests – expansion Concert Series
3 Sundays, July 12, 19 & Aug 2nd. in support of the expansion and connection of Elphinstone’s protected forest areas above xwesam / Stelk’aya (Roberts Creek). The Concerts take place at the end of the Health Trail Forest Trailhead #1 this time (located off the Roberts-Flume Forest Service Road).
Gather at 2pm at the trailhead for a welcome and then hike for 20 min. to the concert spot. Allow about 3 hrs for the experience. Details here.
July 12 – Earth Slips – Malcolm Jack singer/songwriter with James Meger (Bass), Cole Schmidt (Electric Guitar) featuring poetry, field recordings, improvised drones and traditional folk structures in their natural surroundings.
July 19 – Forest Trio – Budge Schachte, guitar; Arista Hawkes, bass & Karen Graves, sax.
Aug 2 – Songs for a Listening Forest – Elisa Thorn, harp, voice; Nikko Whitworth, bass & Madeleine Elkins, guitar.

xRCCA is excited to invite you to CREEK DAZE 2026!
Join us this year as we kick off the festivities at Roberts Creek School, gathering for the lively Higgledy Piggledy Parade leading down to the Pier! Get creative with your costumes straight from the tickle trunk! Meet at 10:45am, parade at 11:11am!
Explore a diverse array of vendors offering information, crafts, delicious food, and engaging activities for everyone to enjoy. Kids will love the KidZone featuring face painting, games, and playful activities.
Don’t miss the vibrant music performances at the mandala stage from 11:30am-6pm (see the discussion board for lineup) and the Slow Sundays Stage at Library Park from noon-3:30pm. Performance by the Story Theatre at the Gazebo, Be sure to browse through the renowned Library Book Sale from noon-3pm—it’s a can’t-miss event!
Stay tuned for more details about the stage line-up, artists, vendors and more! Bring the whole family for a day packed with fun! There will be a water station so bring your water bottles to fill! We do our best to make this a zero waste event!
