Hackett Park Artisan Fair

Aug 15-16. An annual gathering of local and regional vendors. The Fair has been an annual tradition on the Coast for 38 years, and attracts close to 5000 visitors seeking to discover the creations of artisans who are jury selected based on craftsmanship, originality, and the unique items they have to offer for sale. In keeping with our ongoing tradition, the fair will coincide with the popular Festival of the Written Arts.

This year’s Fair will take place in the lower field of Hackett Park. We will have a large variety of artisans, artists, and food vendors, as well as live music.

The Fair can be accessed via Medusa Street and at the corner of Trail Ave. and Dolphin St. in Sechelt. Admission is by donation for adults, students and seniors, and free for children under twelve.

PR – Powell River Fall Fair

Sept 12 & 13, 12-5pm each day, the Exhibition grounds will be full of local food, farm and artisan vendors as well as local non-profits who help support agriculture and our community as a whole. There will be something for everyone – giant vegetables, delicious baking, train rides, live music, zucchini races, an animal barn, kids’ zone, youth tent, and so much more!

$5/person at the gates (kids 12 and under are free)

Ride your bike to the Fall Fair McLeod Rd entrance where you can access free, secure parking compliments of QRCA! Regular and ebikes welcome.

*FUN CONTESTS
Find out about how to enter things that you have made, baked, grown or created. There are entry categories for kids and adults with ribbons and local bragging rights. Entry forms will be in the Fall Fair Guide in the August edition of qathet Living, and will also be posted online when available.

Come enjoy live performances by KP Duty, Wen Warn & The Texada Boyz, Beach Crashers, and Denis and the Menaces!

Consider taking the shuttle from the mall as parking is always limited during this event. Accessible parking is available from Myrtle Ave.

Creek Daze 2026

xRCCA is excited to invite you to CREEK DAZE 2026!
Join us this year as we kick off the festivities at Roberts Creek School, gathering for the lively Higgledy Piggledy Parade leading down to the Pier! Get creative with your costumes straight from the tickle trunk! Meet at 10:45am, parade at 11:11am!
Explore a diverse array of vendors offering information, crafts, delicious food, and engaging activities for everyone to enjoy. Kids will love the KidZone featuring face painting, games, and playful activities.
Don’t miss the vibrant music performances at the mandala stage from 11:30am-6pm (see the discussion board for lineup) and the Slow Sundays Stage at Library Park from noon-3:30pm. Performance by the Story Theatre at the Gazebo, Be sure to browse through the renowned Library Book Sale from noon-3pm—it’s a can’t-miss event!
Stay tuned for more details about the stage line-up, artists, vendors and more! Bring the whole family for a day packed with fun! There will be a water station so bring your water bottles to fill! We do our best to make this a zero waste event!

Opportunity: Art on the Green call for Artists

A one-day outdoor art fair at the beautiful Coopers Green Hall in Halfmoon Bay on Sunday June 28th, 10 am-3 pm. We are currently seeking artists and artisans for this event. Pay $50 and supply your own tent, or $70 for a space within one of our larger pavilions. All profits remain with artists.
