Matt Boismier [Tooninator] is an Art Director and Visual Development Artist for film and television animation. He’s designed for projects such as Magic the Gathering, My Little Pony the Movie, Strawberry Shortcake, Spy Kids, Monster High and most recently a brand new Barbie series for Netflix.

He continues to always explore new visuals featuring figurative work, caricature, landscapes, plein-air and mediums such as digital, pen and ink, markers, pencil and watercolours. His art has an emphasis on light, mood and character.

Matt is also the host of the monthly Drink + Doodle event in Gibsons. A product of his love for drawing unsuspecting patrons. Drink + Doodle is a place for anyone to come and let loose and make marks.
