I grew up on Gabriola Island, shaped by forest, tide, and the passing orcas that still echo in my work. After earning degrees from SFU and the Vancouver Island School of Art, I spent years teaching high school writing before returning full-time to art. Now based on the Sunshine Coast, I work in painting, sculpture, textiles, and natural materials to explore memory, ecology, and emotional landscapes. My practice is grounded in storytelling, place, and the quiet power of creativity.
