Sheri Creates Art - Sheri Peters
I am a lifelong artist that enjoys painting that focuses on texture and color. Working in a wide range of sizes with mostly watercolor and acrylic I paint by intuition balancing the harmony of color waiting for the painting to emerge.
Nature has run as a unifying thread through my life and a deep source of inspiration. I have lived all over the world, been inspired and left pieces of myself in my artwork everywhere I had the privilege to call home. Including designing an Eco-lodge on the foothills of a volcano in Nicaragua and hand painting mural in a Guatemalan school.
In 2019 I moved to Gibsons and was featured on an Artist in the house in 2023. I believe creating art should be fun and teach beginner workshops on the Sunshine Coast to people who are looking to explore creativity.
I take my inspiration from nature and paint by intuition guided by color and what the piece is saying to me. At Art Crawl I will be showing a variety of artworks. Featuring pieces in drawing, watercolor and acrylic in a wide range of sizes on canvas, paper and framed paintings.
