Internationally established artist Don Watson offers private, corporate & public art commissions including film industry awards, trophies for professional athletes, and custom sculptures in stone, wood or fibreglass. Don built the mould system for 200 jersey cows for the Calgary Cows parade to then be painted by artists and auctioned off for various charities. The shipwright’s talent spans from designing architectural details for a Saltspring Island yoga centre, building the original mould for the Victoria Harbour Ferry, to creating a giant fibreglass snail for the SCRD’s Shirley Macey Park and bar tables for the new wine bar The Station. Don offers popular sculpting workshops for beginners and intermediates at his RockN Art studio where samples of his work can be viewed by appointment.
