I was born in Germany, came to Canada at the age of six, and grew up in Ontario. As a young man, living and travelling in Europe I became interested in Art history and began painting in oils . Since 1990 I have lived on the Sunshine Coast where I have been an active member of the Arts community, including a solo show at the Sechelt Art Center as well as participating in group exhibitions and attending weekly life- drawing sessions. My paintings for the Art Crawl are a smaller, more spontaneous format for me, mostly using watercolour.
