I create custom portrait paintings of beloved animal companions, capturing the emotion, spirit and personality of cats, dogs, and others. My work is rooted in colour, memory, and the bond between people and the animals they love. Based in Gibsons, BC. I also bring nearly two decades of experience working with seniors, including those living with dementia, where I witnessed how art opens pathways to connection and joy. Originally from Japan, I have made the Sunshine Coast my home since 2006, where my art continues to grow from community, care, and the healing power of painting.
