As a craftsperson, I’m happiest when I’m creating – because I feel a sense of play, curiosity and wonder. When I discovered ceramics and clay over 20 years ago, I felt like I entered a playground I’ve never left.
Functional, everyday ceramics with glaze tones influenced by moody Salish sea waters and coastal forests. Beautiful handmade objects for ordinary moments.
I make simple pottery for complicated times.
Art Crawl Details
Pottery tends to be a solitary activity, so I’m excited to be part of the Art Crawl for the first time. Ceramics is an alchemy of earth and fire, a process that never ceases to amaze me, and always feels a bit like magic.
The Little Blue Wave is a small studio space, bursting with ideas. Come visit.
