As the artist behind Daughter of the Sun, I love exploring all the ways clay can come to life. I wheel-throw, hand-build, create my own slip-casting molds, and finally hand-carve each piece, embracing the different possibility each technique brings. I’m known for my love of vibrant colour and playful glazes, but this year, I’ve been drawn to softer, more organic forms and a quieter palette while still leaving room for a little fun and whimsy.
For this year I have added new limited release designs as well as uncovering many new creative techniques. I can’t wait to share them all with you but many are in short-supply . Also, I’ve added more parking to make it really simple to come explore. I’m really looking forward to connecting, so plan your stop early to wander through my world of clay at this year’s Art Crawl.
