I create images both 2-D and 3-D using shells, rocks, driftwood, beach and tumbled glass, some mixed with plants.All are decorative, some are functional as well.
As a Horticulturist and Artist I like to portray my pieces in flower or tree shapes. I enjoy doing this with the shells, stones, glass and driftwood I find on my regular beach walks and using their raw organic form.

Being an Horticulturist and an Artist I combine my love of plants with my love of beachwalking. I use my finds of shell, stones, beach glass, driftwood and other detritus of the ocean to create my 2-D and 3-D pieces. I use them as foundation only cleaning them up to reveal their natural beauty. Although I can’t resist gilding a few here and there.
Every beachwalk gives rise to some new idea that changes the way I look for certain shapes, sizes or colours.
