Julia Booth Expressive Arts
Julia Booth’s artistry spans multiple disciplines and media. She is continuously exploring different methods in drawing, painting, print-making, pottery, and realms she has yet to discover. Inspired by West Coast nature, she enjoys incorporating found objects into her process.
Working as an expressive arts therapist, Julia supports others in finding their own inner resources, guidance and resilience through creative expression. She offers 1:1 sessions and group workshops in which she holds space for participants to work with a combination of visual art, writing, sound, movement, drama, and/or other forms of expression that want to come out and play. Her background in architecture and engineering adds a unique perspective to her practice, providing a balance of creativity and structure.
Julia is collaborating with Candace Campo, Sandy Buck, and Hazel Bell-Koski for the 2024 Art Crawl. Together we will be offering an experiential artspace that invites people to engage with their senses, physical environment, and a process of collective art-making. Venue #42 located at 652 Gibsons Way.
