My Scandinavian heritage of refined hand skills passed down through generations has culminated in an expression of fibre sculpting and mixed media.
The sculptural pieces utilize needle felting techniques on handcrafted wire armatures, blending wool, silk, and natural fibres to achieve fine details with natural colouring. For mixed media works, I combine skills such as spinning, weaving, and embroidery, incorporating natural objects to enrich each piece.
The act of creating is a meditative experience. It brings me joy to express my profound connection with nature through my work.
