Discover Art on Gambier Island – Two Stops, 15 Artists, and Three Large-Scale Installations!
After a few years away, we’re excited to return with 15 artists—painters, sculptors, photographers, and more—showcased across two stops: the Community Centre gallery and George Rammell’s studio. Don’t miss three large-scale installations, including two community murals and a life-sized elk sculpture made of wood.
Check out the Langdale-Gambier ferry schedule to plan your trip. Shuttles will take visitors from the dock to the Community Centre (or walk 7 minutes). From 12-3 PM, shuttles also run between the Centre and Rammell’s studio.
Round out your trip with food and drinks at Tracey’s Café pop up at the Community Centre!
Artists from the Gambier Art Hive will transform our community centre into a pop-up gallery! Within walking distance from the water taxi, come view paintings, photography, mixed media, sculpture and more! Shuttle tour between 12-3 to George Rammell’s studio. Set amidst the natural splendour of the island, this gallery viewing is not to be missed! Kid’s table for aspiring young artists, and snacks, coffee and tea available. Check the latest water taxi schedule from Langdale to plan your trip. Please contact 778-998-9976 in advance if you require assistance getting to the centre.
