The Egmont Heritage Centre is directly across from the Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park.
It was built and fitted to tell the story of Native and early pioneers of the area, with an emphasis on logging and fishing.

We are excited to announce our new exhibit opening this June: Echoes of Egmont: Japanese Canadian Stories from the Skookum Chuck

Our state-of-the-art gift shop features incredible art, clothing, books, stickers and snacks, all from LOCAL artists and artisans of the Sunshine Coast and British Columbia.

We also provide amenities.

If the OPEN sign is on, please join us, regular hours begin in May.

Located across the world famous Skookumchuck Narrows, we provide tourists and locals with necessary amenities and a fun place to hang out, learn some interesting history and shop for local art and gifts.
The Sunshine Coast is famous for its vast number of artists, and we have chosen to display as many as we have the space for.
Our outdoor patio is perfect for a picnic on your return from your hike to the Narrows.
If you’d like to book a tour on the water or rent some bikes to see the area, we’ve got you covered!
