District of Sechelt

The District of Sechelt is a local government that provides a wide range of services to the citizens of Sechelt. We aim to foster a creative and thriving community by sustaining a diverse and prosperous economy and a healthy natural environment. Mayor and Council work with staff to identify and adopt policies and programs that support community connectedness, promote diversity, and contribute to the quality of life for our residents.
The District of Sechelt maintains a public art collection and supports a number of community art projects, festivals, and events on an annual basis.
