Heather joined the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden team as a Development Officer in 2022 and earlier this year was appointed the Garden’s first Executive Director.
She worked in the non-profit sector, supporting Rick Hansen in his efforts to advance accessibility and inclusion across Canada, and through this experience Heather was introduced to adaptations to equipment and the built environment to provide equitable access to the outdoors for people with disabilities – gardening included.
Visitors welcome $10 drop in fee.
