presents: “Sacred Astronomy.” His talk will explore the role religion has played in astronomy and how people viewed the earth and the stars.

Dennis Danielson is a Professor Emeritus at UBC teaching science and literature. He got his PhD in English from Stanford with two years as a post grad researcher at Oxford. He served four years as Associate Head, three as Head, and three on UBC’s Board of Governors.
