Learn how food, recipes and storytelling combine as a fundamental way of resisting occupation and colonial attempts to erase culture and peoples. Hear from Palestinian chef Izzeldin Bukhari of Sacred Cuisine, shíshálh master weaver Jessica Silvey and elder Robert Joe about how food and the restriction of food have impacted their peoples, and how weaving history, food, and connection to the land creates hope and fosters communal well-being.
