RC Library Gazebo Stage: Slow Sundays – Not Last of the season

Sundays to Aug 30th… One more show added for Sept 6th. Enjoy the wide range of talents and the exquisite, laid back community spirit that dwells in the heart of Roberts Creek. Come and join in the fun, take a load off, simply chill, enjoy the company and share the Creek vibe together.

Aug 30 – At noon, our loyal Beachcombers Ukulele Group-start the proceedings.  Followed by:

12:30: The Sniffer Dogs, Michael Maser and Stu Young.

1:00 : Sokole Balkan Choir with

Heather Powell, Joyce Chong, Katherine Muller, Linda Williams and Lynn MacKay.

1:30: Slow Sunday Gospel Band, with : Antonia Robertson, Cliff Simon, Bill Barclay, Graham Walker, Kaia Nielsen, Mark Lebbell, Heather Anderson, Steven Schwabl, and Sokole.

2:30 : GEORGIA FATS: with Joe Stanton, Joel Fafard, Barry Taylor and Boyd Norman.

At 3:30: Tribute and Farewell to Mark Trevis:  Mark is leaving us after many years as a major contributor to Slow Sunday and to the Sunshine Coast Music Community – An avid ukulele player – and a Friend of many.

Many friends and musicians will be saying ‘Farewell – but not GoodBye’ as he heads to Ontario, where family and new ukulele pals  await!

Sept 6 – Celtic Sunday (rescheduled from rained out day); Featuring Harmony Hall Fiddlers and Friends, Two Thistles and a Rose, and The Shamrockers.
