PR – Powell River Library: Turning Food Waste Into Hope: The Interceptors (A film Screening + Panel)

A TVO short documentary, followed by a panel discussion with food systems researcher Dr. Susanna Klassen and more guests to be announced.  The film follows a food rescue program in Vancouver that stops food nearing its “best before” date from going into the dumpster and sends it to commercial kitchens, helping respond to growing food insecurity.
