Applications opened on November 4 and the deadline to apply is December 11. Employers can request funding for summer roles that typically run between 6 and 16 weeks, with flexibility to design positions that support organizational needs while providing valuable work experience for young people.
Canada Summer Jobs is funded by the Government of Canada through Employment and Social Development Canada. Eligible not-for-profits may receive up to 100 percent of the provincial minimum wage, while eligible public and private sector employers may receive up to 50 percent.
