to Labour Day long week-end. Takes shape as a market crawl, as vendors set up at the end of their driveways along Vanguard Ave, Gambier Rd, Dulcie Rd, and Shawanabe Rd. Pick up island-grown and -made products such as freshly picked flowers, eggs, local produce, pastries, and more. This is a true community event where you’ll get the chance to meet the people who call this island home. Keep in mind Gambier Island is only accessible by private boat or by BC Ferries passenger ferry and has limited amenities, so if you do plan to visit make sure you bring enough cash (and the gear you need for the day) with you before you depart.
