Recent sightings of a grizzly mother and her three young bears on the Sunshine Coast have understandably generated a great deal of interest and plenty of questions.

Why are we seeing grizzlies here? Are they returning to areas they once inhabited? And perhaps most importantly, how should we respond when grizzlies and people find themselves sharing the same landscape?
