John Clinton is a multi-media sculptor and painter doing both abstract and figurative work. While he works across a wide range of mediums, in recent years he has focused his sculpting practice in bronze and reclaimed wood. His work is heavily influenced by the West Coast environment where his studio is located. He has been a member of the Sculptors Society of Canada since 2009. Most recently he has participated in group exhibitions in Vancouver at the BC Sculptors Society and is exhibited at Whistler Contemporary Galleries at Whistler and at Mountain Galleries. His work can be found in private collections in Canada, US and Europe. This will be his fourth year in the Art Crawl
I am a maker and a storyteller at heart, working in Bronze and wood for my sculptures and Oils for my paintings I do representational landscape and figurative work and abstraction. My studio is on the ocean in halfmoon bay at influences everything about my work giving it a west coast vibe . He has been a member of the Sculptors Society of Canada since 2009. Most recently he has participated in acgroup exhibitions at the Pendulum Gallery with the BC Sculpture Society and is exhibited at Whistler Contemporary Galleries (sculpture) at Whistler and Mountain Galleries (Paintings).
