Hackett Park: Sechelt Summer Music Series

Saturdays to Aug 22 @ noon – except Aug 15th plus a special evening performance at 7PM on Sat Aug 29th.

Classical Ensembles – Whirlwind – formed over 15 years ago to play and explore repertoire written and arranged for woodwind ensemble. They have performed at concerts, coffee houses and outdoor summer events as a quintet, quartet and trio. This summer they will be performing as a trio and quartet, presenting a varied program of classical and popular music.

Ebb Tide – Ebbtide Strings is a string ensemble on the lower Sunshine Coast comprised of members from the Sunshine Coast Community Orchestra string section (Violin, Viola, Cello).  They play primarily classical music but also arrangements of Pop, Folk and Classic Rock music as a String Quartet or larger string ensemble and occasionally with piano, brass or woodwind players – performing at receptions, weddings, fundraisers and community events.
