A much-loved seasonal tradition in the community.
The afternoon begins at 4:00 p.m. with the Sail Past Watch, as decorated boats make their way along the shoreline, followed by community carolling and festive activities starting around 5:00 p.m. The event offers a relaxed, family-friendly way to kick off the holidays, connect with neighbours, and celebrate Halfmoon Bay’s close ties to the water. Enjoy free cider and a roaring fire, plus hall access for warmups, etc.
HBCA is also welcoming local musicians who would like to add live instrumental accompaniment to the carolling. Musicians are asked to arrive before 4:30 p.m. and are encouraged to get in touch by emailing info@halfmoon-bay.ca for a set list.
