I am fortunate to be a resident here on the Sunshine Coast, and am constantly inspired by the natural beauty of the ocean, mountains and beaches.
Nautical themes and landscapes are predominantly reflected in my stained glass window panels, suncatchers and model sailboats.
The unique beauty of the inlet is often the theme of my water colours and acrylic art pieces. As my husband and I enjoy being on the water as well as strolling the beaches, I also love to create whimsical and unique driftwood, rock and shell pieces with my found Sunshine Coast treasures.

Art Crawl Details

Having grown up in B.C. and now a resident of the Sunshine Coast, Cathy has always been inspired by the natural beauty of the coastal mountains, ocean and beaches. These themes are found in her colourful stained glass panels, suncatchers, model glass boats,
hand-painted clocks, paintings, and note cards. As avid beachcombers, Cathy and her husband love to stroll the beaches, turning their found items into whimsical and fun creations.
Cathy studied visual arts at Fraser Valley College and the Banff School of Fine Arts.
