My recent work – paintings and installations – are all energy maps: my take on the interaction of energy streams with each other and me. They track the energies of change, stillness, and disruption.
My creative practice is also fed by my Nia practice, as both a teacher and a student of movement.
I’m always exploring ways to express all things FLOW.
“I paint the energy of trees or the moon,
I paint the energy of devastation and delight.
I paint the exhilaration of taking a flying leap in the dance of life –
sometimes there are collisions.
I love the flow AND the collisions! I express it all in paintings & assemblage installations – from Art Gems (6×6”) to filling whole art galleries.
Every piece is informed by my 25+ year Nia practice, and the flow I experience in life and the land and seas around me.
