SC Hospice: Healing Arts Mixed Media

Oct 20, 27 & Nov 3. Join art therapist Cathie Dunlop for a three-session exploration of grief through colour, collage, and mixed media. Cathie will expertly guide you through different practices and mediums to create a unique piece of art representing your personal journey with grief.

SC Hospice: Family Grief Support Group

Wednesdays to Dec 4. This 8-week support group, led by a team of professionals including a children’s art and play therapist and a counsellor, offers families with school-aged children a nurturing and safe environment to gather. To register or learn more, please email here. us below or call Jennie at 604-840-2342.

This is an event to cozy up comfortably on a mat with a pillow and a warm blanket and relax into the sound frequencies.

Yoga By the Sea: Full Moon Peace meditation

Sit in meditation and community with the intention of cultivating inner peace and outer peace while raising the vibration with a common focus.  Feel free to practice any method, and position your body in any way comfortable. Bring your own cushion or bench. We will also have chairs and other props available.

This meditation is open to anyone, and is free. Please consider bringing a food bank donation to help our community during this summer season.

This year we welcome new race director Wayne Goodridge, Savary resident from ASIC (Association of Savary Island Committee) Please continue reaching out to us if you are available to take on a volunteer coordinator role so that the effort can be shared by the community.
