Wackadoodle Wizard Workshop
I am a nine year-old Cat Wizard. I am five spirited: Cat, Wizard, Samurai, Inventor, and Artist. I want to express my love for the things of this world in a physical art form. My work is inspired by wizardry, alchemy and invention, and is always connected with the Divine Wild Wow. I work with steam punk metal objects, paper mache masks, acrylic paints, feather pen and ink, Chinese ink and brush, sharpies, felt pens, charcoal (from a wood fire), water colours, and natural inks on canvas, rice paper scrolls, rag paper, vellum, ceramic tiles and all manner of found objects. I love to create with high-quality Granddad junk. I have shown my art in group youth art shows at Gibsons Public Art Gallery and the Sechelt Art Gallery.
My studio is only open during the Art Crawl.
Expect to see transformed junk, sculptures made from found bones, turtle shells, ceramic tiles, electrical transformers, hub caps, and speedmeteors, as well as wizarding wonders such as wands, staffs and magic potions, a medieval armory, , and strange magical altars. I will also have my paintings, scrolls, banners and drawings on display. I want to express my love for the things of this world in a physical art form, and am always connected to the Divine WIld Wow.
